VAR LIVE awarded Malaysia Digital status
VAR LIVE was awarded Malaysia Digital (MD) status in July 2026. This milestone marks a new chapter in our work across software development, immersive content and interactive systems for entertainment, training and business.
What is Malaysia Digital status?
Malaysia Digital is a national initiative administered by the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC). MD status is awarded to eligible companies undertaking approved digital activities, supporting the development of Malaysia’s digital economy.
The framework connects digital companies with an ecosystem of industry support and facilitation. It also provides access to potential incentives, rights and privileges, subject to the relevant eligibility requirements, approvals and conditions.
Building on our technology capabilities
At VAR LIVE, we bring software, content and interactive equipment together. Our games, VR platforms and simulation experiences draw on these connected capabilities, from creating digital environments to designing how people interact with them.
That work extends beyond what appears on a screen. We consider how an experience fits into a venue, how a training scenario serves its objective and how software connects with the equipment around it. Each project brings its own requirements, and our approach is to develop the experience around those needs.
Receiving MD status is a milestone in this ongoing development. We look forward to building on our experience and exploring further opportunities within Malaysia’s digital ecosystem.
