A destination for shared experiences

VAR LIVEWe have invested RM6 million in a 10,000 sq ft Kuala Lumpur venue, creating a destination for people to explore virtual worlds together. Featured in Daily Express on 5 January 2019, the park offers seven games, with plans for 13 attractions across 14 game rooms.

From the entrance to another world

Our launch photographs show how we have brought the venue together. Beyond the glass frontage and reception, visitors can discover game artwork, illuminated entrances and dedicated play areas. Each part of the space introduces another experience to explore.

The rooms have their own visual character. Wildling War brings colourful characters onto the walls, while The Others uses a darker entrance and imagery to set a different mood. We want the physical setting to be part of discovering the game, beginning before a visitor puts on a headset.

Our games, our creative direction

Developing our own games allows us to explore different themes and experiences, from adventure and dinosaurs to space. Our ambition is to keep introducing new titles and develop VR esports, giving visitors new challenges and reasons to return.

That creative range is visible in our artwork: the crowded, threatening world of Zombie Jail sits alongside the quiet, shadowed interior of The Others. Showing different worlds together helps visitors choose the atmosphere they want to step into.

Adventure, racing and family moments

Our game portfolio also includes Wildling War, Viking Craft and Crazy Rush, adding colourful worlds and racing to the mix. These visuals sit alongside a moment from our launch, when younger guests joined in the VR experience.

Different ways to take part

Our venue combines standing play areas with seated VR experiences. The launch photographs show visitors holding controllers in themed rooms, as well as rows of seats with screens above them. Together, these photographs capture the variety of physical settings behind the virtual experiences.

For us, the story also includes the people around the games: guests arriving together, our team welcoming them, and friends sharing the excitement of trying something new. Those moments give the venue its character just as much as the worlds on screen.

A broader vision for VR

We see the venue as a place for families and visitors to discover immersive entertainment. Alongside the park, we are exploring how customised VR could support simulation and training, extending our vision beyond games.
